Mellakka Joins a New International Agency Network
Big global news! Mellakka Helsinki has joined the new ETC. network, further strengthening our international capabilities.
ETC. is a collective of independent agencies that enables seamless global PR and marketing collaboration through a single point of contact – delivering worldwide impact with the agility of a boutique agency.
From a Strong Product to a Compelling Brand
We’ve had the privilege of helping build the international success of several outstanding Finnish brands. Yet, these kinds of success stories are still too rare and the reason isn’t the product. As a nation of engineers, we know how to build great products. The challenge lies in communications and marketing, which still receive relatively limited investment.
This gap eats into the competitive advantage created by high-quality products and strong expertise. It makes it harder to stand out in markets where competitors invest more boldly. A lack of willingness, capability, or courage to invest in brand-building and awareness continues to slow down international growth.
As an agency, we are committed to taking Finnish expertise to the global stage. With this network, we can now support our clients’ international expansion more effectively and flexibly. While much can be done from Finland, choosing the right partners is also critical for us.
A Network That Builds Both Global Reach and Intellectual Capital
Beyond shared clients, ETC. aims to actively develop the entire industry to be more creative, diverse, and innovative. At the core of the network is the sharing of tools, cultural insight, data, and expertise – assets we believe will directly benefit our clients.
“We want to create a positive cycle of continuous learning and inspiration, which is why we select only the most innovative and creative independent agencies to join,” says Stuart Tyson, Managing Director at Manifest.
Alongside Mellakka Helsinki, the founding members of ETC. include Germany’s Openers, Spain’s Loud, and the network’s initiator Manifest, which has offices in Sweden, the UK, the United States, and Australia. The network aims to cover all key markets by spring, with up to 20 agencies worldwide.
